How I arrived here - the beginning of my journey

I heard once that 'Luck' is understood as preparation meeting opportunity. If we consider this, we are in control of it.

There are always opportunities, and the preparation falls on us.

In the winter of 2024 I took the chance to give the entirety of my effort into pursuing my passion for oil paintings. I knew I didn't know how to use the paints, but I was determined to learn.

I painted over 40 hours per week for nearly a year and a half before my skills caught up with what I wanted to share.

While I will continue to improve, and my style may alter, I am excited to share my my work.

So far I have had the opportunity to show in the CSPC Spring Art Show, and was the featured artist at the Calgary Farmer's Market West in October 2025.

I wholeheartedly want to further thank all the people who not only purchased my art, but came to appreciate it and engage with me. Your feedback is extremely valuable and I will continue to apply it to my creations.
